Glasgow’s Leading Attractions launch ‘Things To Do In Glasgow’ branded taxis and the chance to win the ultimate day out in the city.

Glasgow’s Leading Attractions (GLA) have unveiled the first ever ‘Things to Do in Glasgow’ branded taxis to carry local and international visitors to the city around their venues.

The ‘Things to Do in Glasgow’ colourful branding can be seen on four taxis in the Glasgow Taxis fleet and staff from: Celtic Park, Clydeside Distillery, Glasgow Science Centre, Glasgow Taxis, The Hunterian; Scottish Football Museum and The Willow Tea Rooms were photographed next to the liveried vehicle at Glasgow Science Centre.

To celebrate the launch, GLA have created a social media competition to ‘Win the Ultimate Day Out’ at GLA venues. The prize is for up to four people, with a potential prize value of over £500.  The winner will be asked to design their day out around their favourite venues and will receive travel and food and drink as part of the prize.  Entry is via Things to Do in Glasgow’s Facebook page @ThingsToDoInGlasgow.

Anne Mulhern, Chair of Glasgow’s Leading Attractions, said: “It’s great to see our distinctive ‘Things to Do in Glasgow’ branding on four taxis around the city at the busiest time of the year for tourism.  At GLA, we are committed to giving visitors to Glasgow the very best experience and now we’re giving them the chance to travel round our member venues in style!”
