Dog Friendly Glasgow

Our best friend. Dogs. Unfortunately not easy to accomodate out and about in a big city such as Glasgow. Here is our guide to keeping your dog entertained as you explore Glasgow

Getting around

Dogs are welcome in most taxis, can be taken on trains and can be taken on the bus. Unfortunately you cannot take a dog on the Subway unless it is a guide dog.

There are many walk ways across the city and you’ll be able to walk the dog safely on a lead. Just remember to be a responsible owner and pick up the dog mess and put it in a provided bin which are numerous in the city.

Food and Drink

Many bars and cafe are dog friendly. They will even provide water and snacks for your four legged friend.

Glasgow has some of the finest parks in the UK such as Kelvingrove in the West End and Glasgow Green to the East of the City Centre.

Parks are fantastic space to treat your dog to the outdoors.

Rural Walks

Whiteless Windfarm is a must. There are miles of walkways across the massive windfarm with plenty of birds and other wildlife.
