Guide to the south side of Glasgow

Just out of town you will find Glasgow Science Centre, an impressive riverside building housing 3 floors of interactive exhibitions and displays showcasing science and life, plus a Planetarium and IMAX cinema – perfect for entertaining kids big and small!
With design on your mind the next stop, a short hop by subway, is Scotland Street School Museum, where you can experience Mackintosh’s last major commission in Glasgow. Once a fully functioning school, it now has re-constructed classrooms which give a glimpse into our educational past – and it’s free!
The Burrell Collection a little further South in Pollok Park houses a world class collection in a stunning Grade A listed building. The Collection is temporarily closed until 2020 while it undergoes a major refurbishment and re-display.
If football is your sport, then plan in a visit to Ibrox Stadium where you will enjoy the magic of this famous stadium, with your very own access all areas pass. Enjoy a visit to the home and away dressing rooms, climb the famous marble staircase , plus you get to run the tunnel before taking a seat in the dugout.
Finish your day with a trip to the Scottish Football Museum & Hampden Stadium Tour, the home of Scottish Football. The museum will take you on a journey through the sights, sounds and stories of Scotland’s greatest football legends. For the true sports fan there’s even an opportunity to take the stadium tour too!
